Production Process
The manufacturing process of MDF flooring begins with mixing recycled or freshly harvested wood fibers with synthetic resins, then pressing them under heat and pressure. For MDF used as the substrate in laminate flooring, the production process is more stringent, ensuring higher density and flatness, as well as better physical properties such as strength and stability. Finally, one or multiple layers of wear paper are applied on the surface and fixed through hot pressing technology, forming a protective decorative layer . This layer not only provides a variety of color and pattern options but also enhances the product's durability and ease of cleaning.
Usage Scenarios
MDF flooring is applicable to various flooring projects in residential and commercial spaces, including but not limited to bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and retail stores. Due to its good moisture resistance, even humid areas like bathrooms or kitchens can consider using MDF flooring. However, it should be noted that although MDF flooring has some water resistance, prolonged exposure to large amounts of water may affect it; thus, direct contact with significant water sources should be avoided.

From a material perspective, MDF flooring primarily consists of wood fibers, but other additives can be included to improve specific attributes, such as adding flame retardants for enhanced safety. Besides traditional rectangular planks, there are products with V-groove edge designs that create a more authentic wood grain effect visually.
